How about NINE more ArchiCAD Tutorial Videos? Can you handle it?
Link Ellis, one of my ArchiCAD Heroes, has (finally) collected some of his tutorial videos and shared them on a dedicated YouTube channel. As of January 13, 2014 he has nine videos uploaded. Currently Link has ArchiCAD videos on Standard Details, Hotlinking Modules, and Marker Referencing in ArchiCAD. All great BIM Manager stuff for ArchiCAD that’s worth learning about. Watch all his videos.
Here’s the deal. I want Link to record more videos. I want Link to share with us all his years of ArchiCAD knowledge. From personal experience, I know that one of the things that most encourages me to record videos is an increasing number of subscribers and lots of positive feedback. When sharing tutorials, it’s nice to see that people are watching, learning, and getting value. So, this is what I want to see all my readers who enjoy ArchiCAD to do:
Watch Link’s videos and if you want more, subscribe to his YouTube channel. As of January 13, 2014 he has a measly five subscribers. FIVE. That’s less than 1/200th of the subscribers I have. Seriously, I can look at the views on his channel and tell that I’m a significant number of those views. Let’s fix that. The videos are great and I want more.
Maybe you’re not familiar with Link. If you read through all of my ArchiCAD Heroes posts, you’ll find plenty of mentions of him. Back in 2011, I wrote a post about Groups in ArchiCAD. Link commented on the post and gave me enough ammo for a second post. Read Part 1 and Part 2. Part 2 is about 50% Link’s advice. Also over the last few months, if you’ve been reading the comments on any of my ArchiCAD posts, Link is usually there adding some great additional information.
